Java Software Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Java backend developer to support and advance our market‐leading solutions.
The role involves software support, maintenance, development, testing, release management, and system integration.
Responsibilities
Provide software support and maintenance services to PCI employees and customers.
Develop and enhance functionalities and features of PCI software products.
Conduct software testing, quality assurance, and release management activities.
Deploy PCI software products and integrate them with other systems.
Complete assigned personal and professional goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field.




5 years of experience with Java backend development.
Knowledge of design patterns and data structures.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience in the full SDLC and excellent problem‐solving skills.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies preferred.
Experience with AWS services or related cloud computing certifications (nice to have).
Availability to work on site from Tuesday to Thursday (Magdalena, Lima).
Advanced English level.
