About You

You are a hands-on senior engineer who enjoys owning complex systems end-to-end.

You are passionate about building scalable, production-grade applications in the cloud and want to contribute to architectural decisions while mentoring others and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

- 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Node.js and Type

Script.

- Proven experience building full-stack applications using React and Type

Script.

Experience with modern React state management patterns.

- Solid experience designing and operating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

- Hands‑on experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

- Strong knowledge of event‑driven architectures in production environments.

- Strong experience with DynamoDB in production environments, including single‑table design, partition/sort key strategies, TTL,



and cost‑efficient scaling.

- Experience supporting hybrid architectures, including coexistence with legacy SQL‑based systems.

- Hands‑on experience provisioning infrastructure using AWS CDK or other IaC tools (Cloud

Formation, Terraform).

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably Git

Hub Actions).

- Solid understanding of logging, monitoring, and observability using Cloud

Watch or similar tools.

- Strong frontend skills with state management patterns such as React Query, Redux, or Zustand.

- Advanced English proficiency and ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
