**DevOps Staff Engineer**

**Essential Functions**
- Design and Architect CI/CD/CT pipelines using Jenkins Declarative Pipelines to build, test, and deploy a wide variety of software workloads for key stakeholders across the company.
- Design, develop, and implement DevOps strategies and best practices to ensure efficient and reliable infrastructure.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure efficient software delivery.
- Act as a Technical Team Lead for the DevOps Department and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
- Act as a primary interface with internal customer across the Enterprise to ensure their business needs are met. Perform as a DevOps SME to the company.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency.

**Education, Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a strong emphasis on AWS and Azure cloud platforms mostly on Open source Tools/ Technologies.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Expertise in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.




- Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Catalyst, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Experience using enterprise artifact repository tools like Artifactory and Harbor.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Kubernetes certifications are a plus
