DescriptionResponsible for Final Control SC P&L.; Reinforcing commercial intelligence, developing all product lines of business in FCTL, and coordinating the global and regional strategy including all efforts to diversify, develop and support the sales channels to achieve entity’s financial results Responsibilities He/she must be aware of the political, economic, and specific process control market trends in the assigned territory in order to identify the best strategic opportunities for the business units and take decisions based on solid grounds. He/she must prepare the business units budget for each fiscal year and manage it throughout the fiscal year avoiding any significant deviation.

He/she will lead the management of the FCTL representatives and distributors as well as external salespersons in charge of the SC territories by agreeing, follow up, and set periodic cadence of growth plans & sales targets. He/she must evaluate the salesperson performance through formal evaluation at the end of the year, where the strengths and weaknesses aspects should be identified and as a result a personal growth plan must be designed for each report. This in coordination with the Human resources Department policies and guidelines. He/she will make updated presentations about the evolution of the businesses and forecasts whenever an authority from the Company makes a visit to our facilities. He/she must align his reports in the culture of a cross-business units sales effort openly sharing information and coordinating joint activities in that direction. This is valid also with regard to other Emerson offices worldwide. He/she must follow the good and honest selling practices aligned with the ethics policy of the company, fostering his reports to behave in the same way. He/she will participate in the selection process of the right person for the any position in the business unit in charge, this done in coordination with the Human Resources Department. He/she will assign the accounts to each salesperson in charge and ask them to prepare strategic plans to each for them and get involved in the sales evolution in each key account. He/she will be responsible for sending to the Business Units’ management abroad the periodic sales and key initiatives evolution reports. He will receive the assistance of an assigned assistant for this kind of tasks. He/she must add value to the customers in order to foster their loyalty and assure their satisfaction. He/she must supervise all main projects by getting involved in the project pursuit activities jointly with the Representatives and other Emerson’s offices according to the territories involved. He/she must assure the Project Management, Execution teams, BU factories do the best work to comply with lead times and conditions of each project won. He/she must supervise that the commissions to the representatives as well as the bonus and/or commissions to the salesperson are correctly assigned and recognized. Perform face-to-face contact with key customers for building a solid relationship, get key early sales related information, get account organization understanding and intelligence activities in order to know in advance its concerns, plans and purchasing criteria. He/she can be designated a project’s leader related to his/her assigned division plus others, having to define the best strategy in order to optimize the chances to win it in a cross-business units’ effort. Management of the sales channels, including knowledge of market and market driver, understanding of opportunities, setting aggressive targets, setting growth initiative and growth plans to the Sales Representatives Participate in all mandatory training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and / or Corporate Policies,and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if it is required. Additional Information Attitude oriented to action and reaching challenging goals, with emphasis in proactivity. Willingness to travel intensively inside the region. Knowledge in quality management systems Requirements Engineering degree or similar. Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in the Hydrocarbons and/or Metals and Mining market Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and sales management Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales and sales management He/she must have experience leading sales efforts, projects, strategies implementation, closing alliances or agreements. Must have proficiency in English language able to speak and understand a technical or commercial conversation Experience using Microsoft Office software package including Outlook and computers use.
