Seeking an experienced administrative assistant to support Intelligent System Experience Engineering teams. Under minimal supervision, the effective assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support with a strong customer service focus. The individual will work in the context of broader admin teams building the Apple admin community. Duties include, but are not limited to procuring goods and services, generating reports, calendar management, ordering and managing inventory, and event and space planning.
5+ years supporting teams (engineering teams preferred) in a high tech environment
Technically savvy, able to use and troubleshoot common programs & systems,
Mac experience a plus.
Demonstrates proficiency by quickly learning new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills.
Works effectively without constant and direct supervision.
Quickly refers problems/issues to the appropriate person (s).
Works as a competent member of the team, and willingly provides back -up support for co-works when appropriate and actively supports group goals.
Must be flexible, quick to learn new skills/knowledge, handle rapid change effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects, and conflicting priorities without loss of composure.
Excellent organizational skills and constant attention to detail. These skills are critical in the management of time, space, task, and projects.
Possess excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Understands the most important aspect of communication is listening and closing the loop on assigned work.
Produces well thought out professional written emails/communication.
Ability to solve administrative problems by offering and implementing recommendations.
Uses analytical skills and a broad understanding of business to effectively interpret needs and solve problems.
Demonstrates the ability to foresee problems and prevent them by taking action, while prioritizing work based on the changing demands.
Assignments/projects cover the broadest range of administrative matters from ordering office supplies to assisting with office moves . The ideal candidate represents Apple management both internally and externally with a significant level of professionalism, tact, diplomacy and discretion.
This position requires someone who enjoys a team-oriented environment who projects a positive demeanor regardless of changes in working conditions. The person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate flexibility in the face of change. This person is pro-active in nature and has an excellent sense of judgment while ensuring work is handled efficiently without the need for constant supervision.
