Job Description Summary



The C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER will be overall in charge of the P&L; for the in-country/territory Installation service segments (TDI, Training, Performance testing) of Power Generation Services in the designated region. He is responsible to plan and fulfill all segments of Installation services business (TDI). In related segments, the C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER owns TDI execution that covers ITO support, planning and project coordination with the project manager. The C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER is to coach, develop and administer technical resources to execute the technical direction in compliance with EHS & Quality excellence. With the support of financial function,

the C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER also leads financial pacing, forecasting, collection, AR and PD for the segments in assigned countries/territories.



Job Description



For starters must have the following specific knowledge, skills and attitude:



- GE Steam turbine installation expertise at field site level and leadership level

- Familiar and efficient within GE NUP sourcing processes.

- ERP and legal entity process familiarity for Americas within HD and Aero operations

- Familiar with GE site cost structure and EAC management of that cost, to achieve regional execution challenging cost out targets.

- Team player that can integrate into the Regional TDI team w/ little nurturing, and can act autonomous

- Understanding of the GE Gas NUP customers, site workforce, and processes to operate safe site results. 

- Fluent in Spanish and English, speaking and writing

Primary Responsibilities:

The C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER is to coach, develop and administer technical resources to execute the technical direction in compliance with EHS & Quality excellence. With the support of financial function, the C&C; TDI SUB-REGIONAL LEADER also leads financial pacing, forecasting, collection, AR and PD for the segments in assigned countries/territories.



Essential Functions



- Own Customer relationship, reporting primarily to C&C; TDI AMERICAS LEADER and dotted line to C&C; AMERICAS LEADER.

- Take lead in technical aspects and fulfillment of TDI customers’ meetings including PIM (Pre Installation Meeting) and POM (Post Installation Meeting).

- Provide support to the TDI site lead in Daily/Weekly customer meetings as required.

- Drive compliance to operating matrices on TDI related sales, forecasting/pacing, financial accounting (collection, AR, PD) via support tools such as e-Field Services (PAC), Service Now, FSP (Field Service Portal) and PGS Portal etc.

- Drive the execution of TDI Activities coordinating with the Project Manager for Equipment related issues and overall Project awareness. Maintaining customer and business satisfaction for quality, EHS, cost, and operation-oriented customer communications.

- Manage Pre-COD warranty planning and provide support to the installation site lead for the execution of Warranty tasks.



Proposal



Assist & support commercial team on customer strategy in the following areas:



- TDI (Installation)

- Review/support Training Services Proposal.

- Review/support Performance Services Proposal.

- Actively coordinate with Sales for TDI offer strategy.

- Work with the Operation Director and Commercial team on pricing decisions within DOA guidelines.



Finance Management/Forecasting



- Provide to the C&C; TDI AMERICAS LEADER and C&C; AMERICAS LEADER and Finance team with financial projections on the TDI services business, quarterly estimating for sales & margin and resource estimates for planning purposes. Own and manage timely billing and receivables collection escalating within the business as required. Provide timely and effective Warranty management and Pacing administration for Pre-COD Warranty tasks. Ensure No SN, No Work policy is adhered to, escalating for pre-approval in Emergent cases. Monitor Cost incurred on ERP Tasks/SN’s to ensure no cost overrun in relation to approved SN limits.



Essential Functions/Responsibilities



- Interface with ITO (sales and Commercial Operations) and Risk teams for new customer TDI opportunities.

- Responsible for the P&L; and execution of TDI Projects within the Region/Territory. 

- Support local and global synergies with Energy Services / GPO organizations, Interface and manage projects with the Project Manager, sales, commercial, operations, quality, and engineering teams.

- Participate in business planning including budgeting / staffing / forecasting.

- Drive individual development of assigned personnel through coaching, counseling, training assignments and developing of business exposure.

- Ensure compliance with all customers, internal and external within contract requirements.

- Drive for excellence in the key areas of cost control and overall productivity.

- Provide effective team leadership to enhance cost effectiveness and create a lean, consistent and effective workforce.

- Identify opportunities for extra work scope. Interface with Customers regarding work in progress, service offerings, audits and other service-related activities.

- Maintain positive and constructive employee relations and manage Field Engineering resources to accomplish effective delivery of Services.

- Ensure compliance to all Services operating metrics, Methods and Procedures.

- Manage communication among internal and customer organizations.

- Adhere to Fulfillment 5 for all Installation sites with Region/Territory. Drive Near miss, Hazard Hunt reporting from both an EHS and Quality perspective to ensure Lessons Learned are highlighted across the Region.

- Support the Punch list/Erection defect site management rhythms.

- Support the Site Lead development program for Regionalization and pipeline.

- Manage Internal and external handover meetings and action items.

- Identify and Negotiate required sub vendor rates and mobilizations to Installation sites.

- Manage FS/PGS Portal as required for the execution of daily Installation and Warranty tasks.

- Participate in Red Flag Review for active installation sites.

- Drive submittal of Weekly installation report. Highlight and escalate any Quality and EHS issues as needed to senior management.

- Support the site Lead to drive timely completion of SIRT, As built drawings and all Commissioning documentation.

- Comply with all Installation QWI’s.

- Utilize the site compensation and Reward and Recognition Programs to reward site teams.
