Cypress.Health provides medical billing and revenue cycle support to US specialty physician practices in nephrology, hospital medicine, infectious disease, and cardiology. Our Peru team works directly with US account managers during US business hours.

The role

You will call US insurance companies on behalf of our clients to check claim status, resolve denials, and fix payment problems. You will support our US account managers with same-day urgent requests and with larger projects involving many claims or one specific payer or facility.

What you will do

Call insurance companies to check claim status and get resolution on unpaid or denied claims

Handle urgent same-day requests from US account managers

Work multi-claim projects, such as a denial pattern with one payer

Use payer portals (Availity and payer websites) to check eligibility, claims, and remittances

Call hospitals and facilities for missing information or records

Write clear notes in English summarizing each call: who you spoke with, reference number, outcome, next step

Track your open requests and follow up until resolved

What you need

- 1 years calling US insurance companies for claims, AR follow-up, or provider services
- Strong spoken and written English
- Understanding of claim denials, appeals, timely filing, and corrected claims




- Comfortable handling several requests at once and prioritizing urgent work
- Reliable internet and a quiet work space [if remote]

Nice to have

- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or Medicare Advantage plans
- Familiarity with denial codes (CARC/RARC)
- Experience with practice management systems such as eClinicalWorks, athena, AdvancedMD, or Tebra
- Experience in nephrology or cardiology billing

What this is not

- Not a patient call center role; you will mainly speak with insurance companies and facilities
- Not a sales or collections role
- Not a scripted, high-volume inbound queue

Schedule and pay

Monday to Friday, 8-4 US CST time

Remote: Work-from-home

S/ 3000 per month
