Sourcing Group Lead Buyer Control Systems & Mechatronics (f/m/d)Lengau |Posted on 02.11.2026In procurement, you will be responsible for selected product groups within the Control Systems & Mechatronics category. You will develop appropriate product group strategies, build a competitive supplier base and ensure a reliable supply for PALFINGER’s product lines.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently manage defined product groups, monitor procurement markets and identify relevant market trends and developmentsSelect, assess and qualify suppliers; negotiate contracts and prices; and support ongoing series productionWork closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Customer Service and Logistics to ensure effective coordination of quality, delivery schedules and planningConduct price and value analyses, including total cost assessments, to support well-founded procurement decisionsSupport project management and continuously improve procurement processesYOUR QUALIFICATIONSCommercial or technical education in mechatronics, electrical engineering or electronics (apprenticeship, technical college,



university of applied sciences or university degree); further training in strategic procurement is an advantageProfessional experience in a commercial or technical role, as well as experience in strategic procurement - ideally in an international environmentExcellent communication and negotiation skills, a confident manner when working with internal and external partners, and the ability to represent the company externallyProficiency in MS 365 applications;
