Would you like to apply your financial controlling experience across three European markets and help regional management understand performance and plan ahead?

We are looking for a Regional Financial Controller to support financial planning and reporting across the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.

We are SAG CZ - we specialise in the sale and distribution of automotive spare parts.

In this newly created role, you will report directly to the Regional CFO and work closely with the Regional CEO and local finance teams. This is a specialist position with no people-management responsibilities.

What will your responsibilities be?

- Monthly Regional Reporting: Prepare and review monthly management reports for CZ, AT and HU, including clear commentary and supporting analyses for the Regional CFO.
- Budgeting and Forecasting : Coordinate timelines and inputs from local teams, review planning assumptions and consolidate regional budgets and forecasts.
- Variance Analysis : Explain variances against budgets, forecasts and the previous year, identify key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
- Month-End and Year-End Closing Support: Work with local finance teams to verify the completeness, accuracy and consistency of data used for management reporting.
- Cash Flow and Working Capital: Monitor cash flow and working capital, including inventory, receivables and payables, and highlight potential financial risks.
- Consistent Regional Reporting: Support consistent financial reporting and KPI definitions across the region, including analysis of currency effects.
- Reporting Improvements: Improve and automate recurring reports and prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support regional decision-making.

What do we expect from you?

- Ideally 2–5 years of experience in financial controlling,



preferably in an international environment.
- Fluent English and the ability to discuss financial topics confidently.
- A solid understanding of financial statements, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain findings clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI or other reporting automation tools is an advantage.
- The ability to work independently, organise priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a constructive approach to working with colleagues across different countries.
- German language skills are an advantage.
- Good business understanding and the ability to identify opportunities for improving financial performance.
