You will connect legacy business logic with modern operational requirements, ensuring the stability and efficiency of high-volume processing systems in sectors like banking and insurance.What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain complex COBOL programs for both batch and online mainframe environments.- Optimize mainframe application performance using CICS, DB2, and VSAM to handle large-scale data transactions.- Analyze and troubleshoot existing legacy codebases to resolve production issues, job failures, and system abends.- Modernize legacy systems by developing interfaces, data feeds,
