AvaMed Workforce is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 6-month contract at Centinela State Prison, a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) state prison in Imperial, CA (Medical, 8-hour shifts).

- Location: Centinela State Prison, Imperial, CA
- Dates: 11/23/2026 - 05/30/2027
- Shift: Days, Friday-Tuesday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (8 hours, 30-minute meal)
- Orientation: 2 weeks, dates to be determined

Responsibilities
- Perform 15-minute patient rounds in the Correctional Treatment Center (CTC) while the call-light system is out of service (Title 22)
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, vital signs and comfort care
- Report changes in patient condition to licensed nursing staff and document care
- Follow all custody, safety and security procedures
Requirements
- Active California CNA certification
- Current BLS certification
- Acute, long-term care or correctional experience; correctional experience preferred
- Background check and CDCR security clearance
- TB test, immunizations and facility health clearances
