We’re looking for an experienced Mass Timber Structural BIM Specialist to join a specialized 6-week freelance project focused on CLT, Glulam, structural connections, and fabrication-level BIM modeling.
What you'll do
Work on LOD 400 Mass Timber structural models, coordinating CLT and Glulam systems, structural connections, MEPF penetrations, hangers, supplementary steel, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Structural BIM / detailing experience
- Hands-on Mass Timber, CLT and/or Glulam experience
- Advanced Revit
- LOD 400 / fabrication-level modeling experience
- Structural connection/detailing experience
- Multidisciplinary BIM coordination experience
- English B2+ for daily technical communication
- Immediate availability
- Own computer/laptop
Nice to Have
- Navisworks
- MEPF penetration coordination
- Structural steel detailing
- Timber connection hardware: knife plates, fasteners, anchors, hangers, etc.
- IFC / STEP / SAT / CAD-CAM workflows
- U.S.-based project experience
