Role Description The Supervisor SSOMA at CORHUAN S.A. is a full-time, on-site role based in Espinar, responsible for overseeing Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management systems across operations. This position monitors daily compliance with SSOMA policies, conducts workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and ensures corrective and preventive actions are implemented. The supervisor leads safety briefings and training sessions, maintains required documentation and reports for regulatory and internal audits, and collaborates with operational teams to integrate SSOMA standards into work procedures. The role also involves tracking key SSOMA performance indicators, proposing continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating emergency response plans and drills.
Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in supervising Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management activities within industrial or construction environments.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.




- Knowledge of applicable SSOMA regulations, standards, and best practices, with the ability to apply them in day-to-day operations.
- Ability to deliver clear safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for diverse teams.
- Experience managing SSOMA documentation, reporting, and audit processes, including compliance tracking and KPI monitoring.
- Effective communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, with the capacity to influence safe behaviors and build a culture of prevention.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities on site.
- Technical or professional degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; additional SSOMA certifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic office and reporting tools; familiarity with SSOMA management software is beneficial.
- Availability to work on-site in Espinar and to participate in rotating schedules or extended hours when required by operations.
