Hiring: China–Country Manager

Salary: RMB 1,000,000–1,500,000 annually

Locations: Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Peru

Job Type: Full-time, long-term international assignment

Experience: Minimum 5 years in overseas business operations or general management

Languages: French, English or Spanish, depending on location

Work Arrangement: On-site, based in the assigned country

About the Role

Our client seeks experienced international business leaders to oversee overseas subsidiaries and manufacturing operations, drive business performance, and manage relationships between Chinese headquarters and local operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee subsidiary and factory operations, including production, sales, procurement, supply chain,



HR and administration.

Execute business plans and achieve operational and financial targets.

Manage government relations, taxation, customs and regulatory compliance.

Lead multicultural teams and coordinate local operations with Chinese headquarters.

Drive business growth, operational efficiency and market expansion.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of overseas management experience, preferably in Africa or other emerging markets.

Experience working with Chinese companies or managing China-related international business operations.

Strong leadership, negotiation and government relations skills.

Business proficiency in the relevant language for the assigned country.

Willingness to relocate and undertake a long-term overseas assignment.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual package of RMB 1 million–1.5 million.

Accommodation and meals provided or covered by an allowance.

Annual travel to China and paid leave.

Potential long-term equity incentives, subject to company terms.
