Exciting Opportunity: EHS Manager | Salt Lake City / Utah County Area

I’m currently partnering with a growing, high-tech electronics manufacturer in Utah to place a critical site leader: an EHS Manager leading an established team of 4.

If you’re a hands-on safety leader who enjoys building positive shop-floor culture while managing technical industrial hygiene and environmental programs, this is a standout role with high visibility and strong operational backing.

The Role

- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and grow a team of 4 direct reports across environmental, safety, and health functions.
- Operational Scope: Own plant-wide safety engagement, cleanroom chemical hygiene, SMT/assembly safety, machine guarding, and hazardous waste programs.
- Compliance & Audits: Serve as the subject matter expert for Utah OSHA, EPA, and Utah DEQ regulatory requirements.
- Culture Driver:



Partner directly with Plant Operations and Engineering to drive proactive safety metrics rather than reactive policing.

Key Requirements

- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics, aerospace, semiconductor, or advanced assembly preferred).
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, managing, or leading direct reports.
- Strong background in chemical hygiene, industrial hygiene air/noise monitoring, and hazardous waste (RCRA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is strongly preferred (client offers support/sponsorship for certification milestones).
