Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Agile Team Lead / Scrum Master to support a major insurance modernization project focused on migrating auto lines of business from legacy applications into Guidewire PolicyCenter. This individual will lead a Scrum team within an integration workstream, initially supporting the document generation workstream, and will work closely with developers, QA, business/system analysts, product owners, and other Agile Team Leads across the program. The role will be responsible for leading Agile ceremonies, managing the team backlog and delivery, coordinating dependencies, tracking status, escalating risks and blockers, and ensuring the team remains aligned and productive. The adecuado candidate is a strong communicator and leader who can challenge estimates, encourage accountability, and bring ideas from previous projects to improve the team's Agile processes. Guidewire and document-generation experience are considered assets but are not required, as this is a delivery leadership role rather than a hands-on technical position. This is a fully remote 12 month contract to start. The role is open to candidates in Canada and Latin America, with candidates expected to provide Eastern time zone coverage. Calgary and Toronto resources will be expected onsite two days per week.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Team Lead
- Experience working within the insurance industry
- Scrum certification required (CSM)
- Ability to support multiple teams or parallel workstreams simultaneously




- Experience working closely with product owners, developers, QA, and business/system analysts.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the confidence to challenge teams, estimates, and existing processes when appropriate
- Experience supporting a Guidewire or Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation.
- Experience with Smart Communications (SmartCom) or another document-generation platform.
- Experience leading document-generation or downstream integration workstreams.
- Experience supporting generation of insurance policy or client documents.
- Experience working across multiple workstreams or within a large-scale insurance transformation program.
