Are you an experienced healthcare billing professional with a strong understanding of claims management and accounts receivable? Join our team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a growing Home Health organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and submit claims to Medicaid, Veterans Affairs (VA), insurance companies, and other third-party payers.
- Verify patient eligibility, authorizations, approved service dates, billing codes, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on unpaid, delayed, denied, or underpaid claims.
- Research claim denials, prepare corrected claims, appeals, and reconsideration requests.
- Communicate directly with payers to resolve billing issues and obtain payment updates.
- Maintain accurate records of claims, invoices, payments, and payer communications.
- Support reimbursement requests for government-funded programs and grants.
- Assist with reporting, reconciliations,



collections tracking, and other finance-related activities.

Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in Healthcare Billing, Medical Billing, Accounts Receivable, or similar roles.
- Experience with claim submission, denials management, appeals, collections, and payer follow-up.
- Home Health or Home Care billing experience preferred.
- Experience working with Medicaid, VA claims, insurance carriers, or government-funded healthcare programs is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in billing platforms, payer portals, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency is required.
