Apprenticeship as a Cable Car Technician (m/f/d) 2027/28

Apprenticeship period: 3.5 years

What you learn

The ropeway technician profession is made up of the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering and hydraulics. You will learn skills from a wide range of technical professions and become a real all-rounder!
You will also carry out a wide variety of work within the company. From maintenance work on cable car systems and servicing snow groomers to daily passenger operations. Most of our ropeway installations are high-tech systems and it takes real specialists to operate and maintain them. Whether it's a 10-seater gondola lift, 8-seater chairlift or T-bar lift, you will learn how to operate them all and become a true all-rounder.

- Operate, maintain and repair various cable car systems
- Analyze and rectify sources of faults on ropeways and surface lifts
- Read technical documents, circuit diagrams and construction drawings
- Customer communication

What you bring with you

- You are particularly interested in subjects such as mathematics, physics and/or natural sciences
- Completed compulsory schooling
- Reliability and manual skills
- Enjoy working outdoors and the motivation to give your best, even in wind and weather
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to work flexibly and independently
- A strong sense of service - you enjoy interacting with our guests, like to communicate and ensure a positive experience on the mountain with your appearance
