We are seeking an experienced DWDM / DWDM Technical Engineer to support optical transmission network projects for one of the major telecommunications vendor. The selected candidate will be formally employed by an outsourcing company and assigned to work on projects for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, configuration, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of WDM systems, including OTN, DWDM, and SDN technologies.
- Provide technical support throughout project implementation and delivery.
- Support technical proposals, project bidding, and tender-related activities.
- Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer for local teams and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and resolution of technical issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with DWDM, DWDM, and OTN technologies.
- Knowledge of telecommunications engineering delivery, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multicultural teams.
- Working proficiency in English is required.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred.
