Accounts Payable Executive | Balakong, Selangor | 6-Month Contract

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional for a 6-month contract based in Balakong, Selangor. This is a broad, hands-on role covering AP operations, reconciliation, treasury support and compliance activities within a structured finance team.

The Role

Taking ownership of AP operations, you will:

- Process and verify vendor invoices, payments and statutory obligations accurately and on time
- Maintain supplier master data, perform callback verifications and reconcile vendor and bank statements
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with treasury functions including hedging and short-term deposits
- Manage petty cash and support month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare audit schedules, support audit reviews and ensure tax compliance across SST, withholding tax and corporate tax




- Handle e-invoicing and self-billing processes in accordance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements

What We're Looking For

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- An audit background is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills, with a willingness to work extended hours when required
