Cloud Data Scientist – Havas CSA

Location: Perú Fully Remote.

CSA, the data consultancy within Havas Media Group and part of the Havas Center of Excellence team, is seeking a Cloud Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy the advanced machine learning models that fuel our data-driven decision-making.

You will work within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, contributing to the development and operational stability of systems, particularly those involving Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will execute defined tasks with a high degree of independence and support the wider team in maintaining engineering excellence.

What you’ll do:

- Implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions on GCP for data analytics and insights.
- Support the deployment, maintenance, and scaling of ML and LLM-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain reliable, secure, and high‑performance cloud infrastructure.
- Automate deployment and management processes using scripting and basic IaC tools.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud services and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on technical design and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams and share cloud best practices with Strategy and Media teams.

What you’ll bring:

Essential Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.




- 2+years of proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its AI/data services (Vertex AI, BigQuery).
- Strong SQL proficiency, particularly with BigQuery SQL for large datasets.
- Expertise in Python programming, with extensive experience in machine learning and data science libraries.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, training, and deploying statistical and machine learning models.
- Comfort and practical experience running Marketing Mix Models (MMMs), specifically utilizing modern open-source frameworks like Meridian or Robyn.
- Proficiency in version control systems and collaborative Git-based development practices (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews).
