Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cusco, responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring educational and development programs for Sonqo Lab. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring that digital and in-person initiatives are delivered effectively and align with the organization’s mission and objectives. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with students, educators, community partners, and internal teams to organize activities, track progress, and address risks or issues. Daily responsibilities include overseeing logistics, supervising project implementation, preparing reports, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.



The role also includes continuous improvement of processes and contributing to the design of new programs that respond to the needs of Andean communities. Qualifications
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of multi-phase initiatives.
• Experience as an Expeditor or in Expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of project tasks and materials.
• Knowledge of Logistics Management to organize resources, scheduling, and on-site operations in Cusco and surrounding areas.
• Inspection skills to monitor program quality, evaluate outcomes, and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work respectfully with students, educators, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing community and organizational needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in non-profit, educational, or community-based projects in rural or vulnerable contexts is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in Spanish; Quechua or familiarity with Andean cultures is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with competency in standard office and project management tools.
