Role Description The Director of Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Lima. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing business plans, overseeing lead generation activities, managing key client accounts, and leading contract negotiations to close deals. The Director of Business Development collaborates with cross-functional teams to align growth initiatives with organizational objectives, monitors market trends and competitor activity, and prepares regular performance reports and forecasts for senior leadership. This position also mentors team members, optimizes business development processes, and represents the organization at industry events and client meetings.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of securing and growing strategic opportunities.
- Strong Business Planning skills, including experience in market analysis, forecasting,



and developing data-driven growth strategies.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and effective risk management.
- Solid Account Management capabilities, with experience maintaining long-term client relationships and maximizing account value.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
- Experience in industrial, engineering, construction, or related project-driven sectors preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English; strong negotiation and writing skills in both languages are advantageous.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office suite, and basic financial modeling for business cases and proposals.
