Coforge is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize batch and near real-time data pipelines for financial services clients in Peru. The role focuses on ETL processes, data warehouse/lake implementations, and maintaining data integrity and availability in banking environments.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and optimize batch and near real-time data pipelines ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability

- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks

- Build and optimize stored procedures, packages, and complex queries in Oracle PL/SQL

- Apply validation and testing procedures including unit, integration, and stress testing

- Identify optimization opportunities in data integration processes and SQL queries

- Participate in analysis sessions, brainstorming, and data solution design with cross-functional teams

- Coordinate incident resolution and manage project risks and deviations

What You Need

- Minimum 3 years experience in Data Engineering projects within the banking sector





- Minimum 1 year development experience with Azure Data Factory

- Minimum 1 year development experience with Azure Databricks

- Minimum 3 years developing Oracle stored procedures and packages

- Minimum 3 years building ETL processes using data integration tools

- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL

- Basic understanding of dimensional modeling for Data Warehouse and Data Lake

- Basic database modeling knowledge under third normal form (3NF)

- Basic Linux or Unix knowledge including shell script execution, file administration, and permission management

- Experience working with large-volume data integration and transformation environments

Nice to Have

- Experience with CRM implementation or integration projects

- Functional and technical CRM concepts knowledge

- Microsoft Azure certifications

- Databricks certifications

- Modern data architecture and data engineering best practices knowledge

- Experience in digital transformation initiatives within the financial sector
