Application Support Engineer
with strong hands‐on expertise in UAE domestic payment systems and RTGS environments.
The adecuado candidate will have practical experience supporting critical payment platforms including
UAEFTS, WPS, IPI, and Aani/IPP

The successful candidate will be responsible for incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, database support, change management, and coordination with infrastructure, security, vendors, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
Provide application support for UAE domestic payment and RTGS systems.
Support payment platforms including UAEFTS, WPS, IPI, and Aani/IPP.
Monitor and troubleshoot payment processing flows and application issues.
Provide production support for high-volume, mission-critical applications.
Work within a 24×7 production support environment.
Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Use Oracle Database for queries, troubleshooting, and production support.
Coordinate with infrastructure, security, vendors, and business teams.




Manage and resolve application incidents within agreed service requirements.
Support system availability, stability, and operational performance.
Maintain technical documentation and incident records.
Support audit and compliance requirements where applicable.
Follow ITIL-aligned support and operational processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Application Support Engineer in banking, financial services, or payment systems.
Hands-on experience with
UAEFTS, WPS, IPI, and Aani/IPP
.
Strong understanding of the UAE payments ecosystem and payment processing flows.
Strong Oracle Database experience, including queries and troubleshooting.
Experience in production support environments.
Experience with incident, problem, and change management.
Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical applications.
Ability to work in a
24×7 support environment
.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience coordinating with infrastructure, security, vendors, and business teams.
Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
Knowledge of ITIL and audit/compliance requirements is an advantage.
