Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) at BairesDev
In this role, you'll set technical direction across a growing AWS-hosted platform, combining deep hands-on expertise with influence across teams. You'll turn product goals into working software and help the wider organization build well.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a product capability from first design through delivery and ongoing operation.
- Deliver working software from product goals.
- Set the architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.
- Collaborate with end users to clarify requirements.
- Champion AI-assisted development across the delivery cycle.
- Mentor senior engineers and advise leaders on technical strategy.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of deep expertise building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architectures, having designed them in production.
- Extensive background with AWS-hosted platforms.
- Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
- Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
- Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
- Advanced level of English.
