Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Medical Interpreters (Spanish/OPI). In this position, the interpreter will provide real-time over-the-phone interpretation between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and clear communication in medical settings. Daily tasks include interpreting medical information, procedures, and instructions, applying appropriate medical terminology, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The interpreter will handle multiple calls, work with various healthcare providers, follow established protocols, and document interactions as needed in accordance with company and client guidelines.




Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Medical Interpretation skills, including Medical Terminology knowledge and experience working with healthcare-related conversations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Interpreting and Simultaneous Interpretation to accurately convey messages between Spanish and English speakers in real time.
- Candidates should possess Translation skills for supporting written communication when required.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Prior experience as a medical interpreter or in a healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Certification or formal training in medical interpreting or related fields is an advantage.
- Reliable remote work setup, including stable internet connection, quality headset, and a quiet, private workspace.
- Strong ethical standards, adherence to confidentiality, and ability to remain impartial and professional.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle high call volumes, and work within scheduled shifts.
