At La Mar Cocina Peruana – San Francisco, we are looking for an FOH Supervisor to join our team through a 12–18 month J-1 professional development program.

We are looking for someone who already has experience leading restaurant teams and operations, enjoys being close to the day-to-day operation and the guest experience, and is ready to take their career to the next level in an international environment.

This position will play an active role in the daily operation of the restaurant, leading Front of House service, supporting the team throughout each shift, and helping ensure that every service runs in an organized, efficient way and in line with La Mar’s standards.

The program will also provide broader exposure to different areas of restaurant management, including Front of House operations, bar, banquets, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and administrative processes.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE?

As an FOH Supervisor,



you will work closely with the management team and have direct involvement in the restaurant’s daily operations.
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Act as Floor Manager during assigned shifts, leading and coordinating Front of House operations.
- Actively participate in lineups and pre-shift meetings, ensuring the team is aligned on service priorities, updates, standards, and daily goals.
- Organize and support the Front of House team throughout service, ensuring proper floor coverage and smooth execution.
- Monitor service standards and contribute to delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to identify team needs and resolve situations that may impact service.
- Manage and follow up on guest concerns or feedback, coordinating with the management team when needed.
- Provide direction, coaching, and feedback to the team during service, supporting their development and performance.
