Digital Service Manager SAP GTS - SKF Automotive Business

Are you ready to shape the future of digital customs, trade compliance, and global trade operations?

At DSM Logistics & Customs Management, you will have the opportunity to help a global organization strengthen its customs and trade compliance processes using modern digital solutions. In this role, you will work with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) to ensure compliant, efficient, and automated cross-border trade operations.

You will contribute to building and maintaining an integrated landscape where customs processes, trade compliance, logistics, and ERP systems work seamlessly together, providing transparency, speed, and accuracy to global flows of goods. You will collaborate with global business teams, customs specialists, IT partners, and external authorities to drive initiatives that improve compliance reliability, reduce manual work, and enhance digital capabilities across the supply chain.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience from an in-house IT organization, ideally gained as a Service Owner or IT Application Owner responsible for cross-functional solutions and global stakeholders.

What you can expect in the role

Solution Ownership

- Own SAP GTS across customs, compliance, risk, and preference processes.
- Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and effective lifecycle management, including upgrades and enhancements.

System Architecture & Integration





- Support the integrated architecture across SAP GTS, SAP S/4HANA, logistics systems, and customs authority interfaces.
- Oversee EDI, API, customs messaging, and connections to satellite applications, including Preferential Origin tools.

Customs & Trade Compliance Enablement

- Enable HS classification, preferential origin, embargo screening, and import/export processes through effective system configuration.
- Work with customs and business teams to optimize master data, compliance rules, and end-to-end trade processes.

Data & Digital Roadmap

- Drive the digital roadmap for customs automation, data governance, standardization, and regulatory readiness.

Project & Budget Leadership

- Lead GTS implementation, enhancement, and integration projects with integral IT teams, business experts, consultants, and customs authorities.
- Plan and follow up budgets for GTS and customs digitalization activities.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You will collaborate broadly across teams, but the position does not include direct personnel leadership.

You will enjoy working here if you have:

- Hands-on experience from an in-house IT organization, ideally as a Service Owner or IT Application Owner managing cross-functional solutions and global stakeholders.
- A relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) in general or regional environments.
- Strong understanding of customs management, trade compliance, HS classification, embargo checks, and preferential origin processes.
- Knowledge of integration between SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA for master data, logistics,



and document flows.
- Experience managing or supporting electronic customs declaration processes and external interface messaging.
- Solid understanding of process design, integration flows, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and compliance details.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
