About This Position

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented, and client-focused consultant to provide support on the management and resolution of IDB Lab’s Special Assets portfolio and related activities.

You will work in the Finance, Risk and People Division (FRP) of the IDB Lab. This team is responsible for the management of the IDB Lab Special Assets Portfolio as part of its risk management responsibilities. You will be reporting to the FRP’s Division Chief.

What You’ll Do

• Support the analysis of the financial condition, credit risk, and repayment capacity of IDB Lab clients in the Special Assets Portfolio, including distressed or underperforming investments.
• Conduct financial and credit analysis, including review of financial statements, cash flows, debt capacity, liquidity,



repayment capacity, and other relevant financial information.
• Support the Senior Specialist in assessing restructuring, recovery, and write-off scenarios through financial analysis, projections, and other quantitative assessments.
• Assist in monitoring Special Assets clients, including financial performance, compliance with agreed restructuring terms, payment commitments, and progress against agreed action plans.
• Prepare draft restructuring and write-off memoranda, financial analyses, and presentations for consideration by the appropriate IDB Lab authorities and committees.
• Participate in client meetings and, when appropriate, institutional or field visits to support the assessment and monitoring of distressed or underperforming operations.
