About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Technology Migration Lead to drive the migration of a legacy acquiring platform to a new payment processing solution.

In this role, you will lead the migration strategy, planning, coordination, and governance, ensuring business continuity, data integrity, accurate financial reconciliation, and a controlled cutover to the new platform.

You will work closely with the financial institution, technology provider, internal teams, and third-party partners to align scope, objectives, dependencies, risks, decisions, and go-live readiness across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and coordinate the end-to-end migration strategy, including cutover, rollback, and contingency plans.
- Develop and manage integrated migration plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and critical decisions.
- Coordinate data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation rules, integrity checks, and validation.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of balances, transactions, and data between legacy and target platforms.
- Lead cross-functional working sessions, aligning business, technology, operations, and external providers.
- Establish governance routines, escalate critical issues,



and support decision-making at the appropriate level.
- Define and monitor go-live readiness criteria, ensuring operational stability and customer continuity throughout the transition.

Required Experience

- Proven experience leading complex technology migrations, preferably in financial services, acquiring, payments, transaction processing, or core banking platforms.
- Strong background in migration planning, data integrity, reconciliation, cutover execution, rollback strategies, and contingency planning.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, technology providers, and multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
- Experience managing integrated project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive escalations.
- Experience delivering projects with significant operational, financial, or regulatory impact.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Desirable Knowledge

- Acquiring platforms, merchant acquiring, payment processing, or payments ecosystems.
- Payment lifecycle processes, including authorization, capture, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, merchant onboarding, and product configuration.
- Legacy-to-modern platform migrations and financial or operational reconciliation.
- Systems integration technologies and protocols, including APIs,



batch files, messaging, and ISO 8583.
- Data governance, data quality, and integrity controls.
- Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Project and collaboration tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent solutions.
