Coforge seeks a Data Engineer with experience in data modeling to design and manage models for Big Data, Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions. The role focuses on designing dimensional and analytical data models using ERwin, manipulating data across multiple platforms, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
What You'll Do
- Design dimensional, analytical data models and dashboards using ERwin for Data Lake and Lakehouse solutions across different Big Data layers, including UDV and DDV
- Model SDS and DATAENTRY data structures using ERwin for Data Lake architecture workflows
- Manipulate and manage data using Oracle, Impala, Hive, Databricks, and Azure
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with team members on planning and activity tracking
- Manage and update work dashboards in Jira using a Kanban approach, and contribute to the design and maintenance of data models for analytical solutions

What You Need




- Minimum 3 years of experience in data modeling and related technologies
- Data modeling experience with ERwin
- Knowledge of dimensional and analytical modeling, as well as Data Lake and Lakehouse structures
- Experience manipulating data with Oracle, Impala, Hive, Databricks, or Azure
- Knowledge of Python, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Hive, and Spark
- Familiarity with data platforms and cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Knowledge of databases including MongoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and Cosmos DB
- Proficiency with Jira and knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban

Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Power Automate and Power BI
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
