Role DescriptionGrupo Noa International is seeking a fluent Spanish-English Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) to facilitate clear, accurate, and professional communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking individuals. This is a full-time remote opportunity for candidates residing outside the United States.

The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation during phone calls involving a variety of situations, potentially including healthcare, customer service, and other client-specific interactions. Responsibilities include accurately conveying spoken messages between English and Spanish, maintaining the original meaning and tone of each speaker, and ensuring that all parties can communicate effectively.

The adecuado candidate will demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills, strong command of both languages, and the ability to remain professional and impartial in sensitive situations. The role requires strict adherence to confidentiality requirements, client protocols, quality standards, and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and strong proficiency in English, with excellent spoken comprehension in both languages.
- Strong consecutive interpretation skills,



with the ability to accurately interpret conversations between Spanish and English in real time.
- Excellent active listening, memory retention, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey messages accurately while preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent of each speaker.
- Strong command of Spanish and English grammar, vocabulary, and common idiomatic expressions.
- Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed during challenging or sensitive conversations.
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and following applicable client policies and interpretation protocols.
- Ability to work remotely with a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet and private workspace, a computer that meets technical requirements, and a USB headset.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, schedule adherence, and ability to meet established performance and quality standards.
- Previous experience in over-the-phone interpretation, medical interpretation, customer service, or call center operations is preferred.
- Medical interpretation training, relevant certifications, or knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage, particularly for healthcare-related accounts.

- Location: Remote – candidates must reside outside the United States.
- Rate based on Per Minute of talk time
