Role purpose

We are looking for a Technical Lead, Software Engineering to guide development teams, make technical decisions and ensure the quality and delivery of software solutions.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership, team coordination, architecture, engineering standards and communication with business and project stakeholders.

The Technical Lead will work closely with developers, architects, project managers, analysts and client representatives to turn requirements into maintainable and production-ready solutions.

Main responsibilities

- Lead a technical team of at least 15 software professionals.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and regular follow-up to team members.
- Define and review application architecture, technical designs and implementation approaches.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
- Design and develop services, APIs and applications using C# and Python.
- Work with frontend teams using React and Angular.
- Design and maintain solutions connected to Microsoft SQL Server and other database technologies.
- Apply software architecture principles, design patterns and engineering standards.




- Review code, technical documentation and pull requests.
- Establish and follow quality practices, testing standards and technical control points.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, design gaps and delivery constraints.
- Support estimation, planning and prioritization of technical work.
- Coordinate with project managers, Product Owners, analysts, infrastructure teams and external vendors.
- Facilitate technical discussions and document relevant decisions.
- Support Agile delivery practices within the team.
- Monitor technical progress and communicate risks or delays to the relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and development of technical team members.
- Take part in hands-on development when the project requires direct technical contribution.

Mandatory requirements

- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, Software Lead, Engineering Lead or equivalent.
- Experience managing or directly coordinating technical teams of at least 15 people.
- Professional experience with C# and Python .
- Experience with React and Angular .
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server .




- Knowledge of transactional and non-transactional databases.
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based application delivery.
- Experience with GitLab and Git.
- Practical knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with code reviews, testing practices and quality control.
- Experience contributing to or managing technology projects.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have experience

- Experience designing APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience with microservices or modular monoliths.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerized applications.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, App Services or Azure data services.
- Experience working with external vendors or distributed teams.
- Certification in Agile methodologies, project management or software architecture.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead or Technical Project Lead.
