Welo Data is seeking native-level Spanish (Peru) speakers for Project Hydrus, a conversational AI voice recording project.

What You'll Do:

- Submit two short audition recordings demonstrating natural conversational speech and customer-service style
- Participate in two supervised recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each
- Record scripted material in a natural, everyday conversational tone
- Record spontaneous speech on assigned topics while maintaining consistent warmth and pace
- Follow live direction from a Session Director during supervised sessions
- Manage your own home recording space and professional audio equipment
- Deliver all recordings entirely in Peruvian Spanish, without switching to other languages or dialects

Requirements:

- Native or native-equivalent fluency in Spanish (Peru)
- Experience as a voice actor, actor, theater performer, or comparable performance background
- Access to a quiet recording space free of echo and background noise




- Professional-grade microphone for auditions, with a qualifying USB condenser or XLR microphone and audio interface for paid sessions if selected
- Closed-back monitoring headphones for supervised recording sessions
- Ability to self-direct auditions and follow live direction
- Basic audio recording skills, including microphone positioning and identifying noise, clipping, and distortion

Preferred (Not Required):

- Professional voice-over experience in dubbing, ADR, audiobooks, or conversational podcasting
- An existing acoustically treated home recording studio

Location: Remote (Peru)

Pay: $35/hour

Duration: Approximately 8 hours total

Sessions: Two supervised sessions, approximately 4 hours each
