We are conducting a confidential search for a Head of Labour & Employment based in Lima, Peru.

This is a senior leadership position for an experienced lawyer who will be responsible for leading and developing the Labour & Employment practice, combining technical expertise, team management, client relationship management and business development.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the Labour & Employment practice and its team.
- Provide strategic advice to corporate clients on complex individual and collective employment matters.
- Lead labour litigation and administrative proceedings before the relevant authorities.
- Advise on collective bargaining, union relations, employment policies, terminations, compensation and labour compliance.
- Manage, mentor and develop lawyers within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Actively contribute to the business development and growth of the practice, identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
- Collaborate with other practice areas on multidisciplinary matters.

Candidate profile:





- Qualified lawyer in Peru.
- At least 8 years of professional experience specialising in Labour & Employment Law.
- Strong technical expertise in both advisory and contentious employment matters.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong business development capabilities and commercial mindset, with the ability to build and maintain senior client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- High level of English would be highly valued.
