Destination Peru is a U.S. and Peruvian-owned luxury destination management company (DMC) and the only U.S.-owned company licensed to operate the Inca Trail. We design private, high-end trips across Peru for travelers who expect everything to run perfectly, and we're growing fast.
The role
You'll be the person who makes our trips happen on the ground in Cusco: organizing and running tours, building and managing our network of guides, drivers and suppliers, and keeping every detail of every trip organized. You'll be the face of the company for our guests and partners in Cusco.
What you'll do
• Plan, coordinate and run tours and private trips, from arrival to departure
• Build and manage a reliable network of guides, transportation providers, hotels, restaurants and experiences
• Build and maintain our supplier master file ("la biblia"): contacts, rates, contracts and availability
• Handle reservations, confirmations, Inca Trail permits, train and entrance tickets
• Prepare trip operations: itineraries, vouchers, guide and driver assignments




• Be on call while guests are traveling and solve problems fast and calmly
• Keep our files, spreadsheets and systems organized and up to date

What we're looking for
• Fluent English. Non-negotiable: you'll speak with our guests and U.S. team every day
• A great attitude: positive, proactive and takes ownership
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with technology: Google Workspace, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, email
• Lives in Cusco
• Available to start within one week

Nice to have
• Experience at a tour operator, travel agency, DMC or hotel. We'll train the right person; attitude and English matter more than years on a CV
• Knowledge of Inca Trail, PeruRail, Inca Rail and Machu Picchu logistics
