We are expanding our fintech and credit-related business across Latin America, with a focus on Spanish-speaking markets.
You will join a cross-functional international team working closely with business, product, risk, operations and legal colleagues. The team is responsible for market entry, financial product implementation, regulatory compliance and local business operations.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both financial regulations and how fintech or lending businesses operate in practice.

Job functions
- Build, improve and implement compliance policies and processes for overseas lending businesses.
- Monitor regulations related to financial services, consumer protection, data privacy, AML and lending.
- Conduct compliance assessments for new markets, product launches and changes in business models.
- Review compliance across the lending lifecycle, including underwriting, pricing, marketing, disbursement,
collections and customer complaints.
- Support licensing applications, renewals, regulatory filings and ongoing compliance management.
- Translate regulatory requirements into product rules, operating procedures and compliance standards.
- Conduct compliance assessments of partners and service providers.
- Coordinate with external law firms, compliance advisors, business partners and relevant regulatory stakeholders.
- Support compliance training, reviews and remediation.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above; Law, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance or related disciplines preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance, legal compliance, regulatory affairs, fintech, consumer finance or related financial services.
- Experience in overseas lending, consumer finance, digital lending, fintech or installment financing.
- Good understanding of the lending lifecycle and the ability to assess product and operational compliance risks.
- Experience in regulatory research, compliance framework development, risk identification or process implementation.
- Professional working proficiency in both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese is required.
- Strong communication, coordination and project execution skills.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical and executable business solutions.
Desirable skills
- Experience in Mexico, Colombia, Peru or other Latin American markets.
- Experience in consumer lending, personal loans, digital lending, BNPL or credit cards.
- Experience with financial licensing, regulatory filings, renewals or regulatory communications.
- Familiarity with consumer protection, data privacy, AML/KYC, marketing,
collections and customer complaints.
- Experience in financial institutions, fintech companies, law firms or consulting firms.
- Professional working proficiency in English is a plus.
- Experience working with Chinese companies, China-based teams or China-related cross-border businesses.
