Role Description This is a part-time, remote Freelance Interpreter role. The interpreter will provide real-time language support for corporate clients, including consecutive and/or simultaneous interpreting during virtual meetings, conference calls, and online events. Day-to-day work may involve preparing for assignments by reviewing provided materials, clarifying terminology, and ensuring familiarity with client context.

The role requires maintaining strict confidentiality, adhering to legal and regulatory standards, and documenting completed assignments as requested.



Interpreters are expected to manage their schedules, respond promptly to assignment requests, and communicate clearly with project coordinators to ensure reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in at least two languages, including native or near-native fluency in the primary working language pair.
- Demonstrated professional interpreting experience in business, legal, medical, or technical settings.
- Ability to work effectively in remote environments, including stable internet connectivity and familiarity with common video conferencing platforms.
- Excellent active listening, note-taking, and memory skills to support accurate, context-aware interpretation.
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements, data security, and compliance with relevant industry and legal standards.
- Clear, concise communication style and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Formal training or certification in interpreting or translation is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones and handle urgent or high-priority assignments when needed.
