We are looking for a Microwave Engineer to support the integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Nokia PTP/PTMP microwave. The role will be responsible for ensuring optimal link performance, providing technical support during field operations, and contributing to network improvements and capacity expansions.

?¿What will you do?
• Integrate, configure, and commission Nokia PTP/PTMP microwave equipment.
• Perform link troubleshooting, including RSSI, BER, interference, alarms, capacity, and availability.
• Conduct link alignment, performance, and connectivity validations.
• Participate in capacity expansions, frequency changes, and equipment replacements.
• Provide technical support to field teams and the NOC during integrations and incident resolution.
• Analyze link performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Document configurations, tests, incidents, and integration progress.





?¿What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Wireless Communications, or related fields.
• Experience in the integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PTP/PTMP microwave networks.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia microwave equipment.
• Knowledge of link budget, frequencies, capacity, RSSI, BER, and interference.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, VLAN, and basic routing.
• Basic knowledge of DWDM and optical transport networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify the point of failure before escalating.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency (required).
• Willingness and availability to travel to field sites when required.
