Role Description The Owner role at Gobierno Regional de Tacna is a full-time, on-site position based in Lima, responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the overall management of regional initiatives and projects. The Owner leads planning and execution of programs aligned with regional development goals, coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational and financial reports, making data-driven decisions, approving key budgets and investments, and monitoring the performance of ongoing projects. The role involves representing the organization in high-level meetings, fostering partnerships with government entities and community organizations, and promoting transparency and accountability in all activities. The Owner also mentors senior staff, sets performance expectations, and drives continuous improvement across organizational processes.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.




- Strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a track record of aligning initiatives to organizational or regional development objectives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with government bodies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of public administration, regional governance, or related fields; prior experience in the public sector or large organizations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data, manage budgets, and ensure responsible use of resources.
- High level of integrity, commitment to ethical practices, and dedication to transparency and accountability.
- Relevant university degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline; advanced studies are an advantage.
- Proficiency in standard office software and digital tools; familiarity with project management frameworks is a plus.
