Responsible for defining, governing, and evolving enterprise and solution architectures aligned with business strategy and internal IT objectives. The role ensures scalable, secure, and interoperable IT solutions through the application of industry frameworks (TM Forum ODA/eTOM/SID/Open APIs), while supporting modernization, cloud adoption, and portfolio simplification. Acts as a key internal advisor, enabling delivery teams and strengthening architectural capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities - Define, maintain, and govern enterprise architecture principles, standards, domains, and reference architectures, ensuring alignment with business strategy and corporate IT direction.
- Lead and operate architecture governance processes (e.g., Architecture Review Board), enabling consistent decision-making while supporting delivery agility.
- Align enterprise architecture with TM Forum frameworks (ODA, eTOM, SID, Open APIs) and internal IT standards.
- Develop and maintain as-is and to-be enterprise architectures, identifying gaps, technical
- debt, and opportunities for optimization and simplification.
- Build and manage wave-based transformation roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- (KPIs), supporting modernization, cloud-native adoption, and portfolio rationalization.
- Identify cross-domain inefficiencies and architectural friction points, working with
- stakeholders to address root causes and drive structural improvements.
- Ensure enterprise architecture compliance with security, regulatory, data privacy, and
- corporate governance requirements.
- Embed AI-first thinking across enterprise and solution architectures, identifying where machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics,
and automation can improve efficiency, customer experience, and decision-making.
- Translate enterprise architecture principles into practical, implementable solution architectures across BSS/OSS, digital channels, data, integration, cloud, and security domains.
- Act as end-to-end solution architect for complex initiatives, ensuring architectural consistency from requirements through design, implementation, and deployment.
- Define solution-level architectures including integration patterns, APIs, data models, and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, resilience).
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure architectural intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle.
- Support evaluation, selection, and adoption of technologies, platforms, and vendors in
- alignment with enterprise standards.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to prioritize automation and AI use cases, validating
- business impact and technical feasibility.
- Define AI-enabled architecture patterns, including model lifecycle management, data pipelines,
- feature stores, model governance, and integration with enterprise platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Advisory:
- Serve as a trusted internal IT advisor to business and technology stakeholders, translating
- strategic objectives into clear architectural decisions.
- Facilitate architecture and design workshops to align stakeholders and drive shared
- Provide architectural guidance to strategic programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment
- with long-term enterprise goals.
- Mentor and guide solution architects, domain architects, and senior technical staff to
- promote architectural consistency and quality.
- Contribute to building and sustaining internal architecture capabilities and communities of
- practice.
- Support knowledge transfer and training activities, including architecture workshops,
- documentation, and onboarding sessions.
- Promote continuous learning and support certification paths related to architecture
- frameworks, TM Forum standards, and cloud technologies.

Requirements - Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; postgraduate degree
- 10+ years of experience in architecture roles, with at least 5 years leading transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in telecom and digital services environments, including TM Forum-based initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of cloud-native architectures, APIs, integration, data, and security.
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
