Your Impact

As part of our team you will

In this role, the individual will:

- Review and track implementation of site-level environmental monitoring activities, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to established protocols
- Track progress toward regulatory commitments, targets, and other performance metrics.
- Support in the preparation and submission of environmental compliance reports,



ensuring all regulatory requirements and deadlines are met
- Collaborate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss and solve environmental concerns, contributing to the implementation of sustainable operational practices
- Support communication from the site teams to the BU regarding environmental performance, risk, and events.
- Support compliance audits, event reporting, and investigations.
- Support closure plan development and cost review at the BU level.
- Support data compilation and review for annual reporting and site-level regulatory reporting as needed.
- Provide guidance on areas of improvement and track progress.
- Support review of progress toward targets and other commitments.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

5-7+ years of experience in environmental compliance and regulatory requirements. Experience implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory affairs.

Experience leading environmental programs and initiatives.

Experience responding to environmental inspections and audits.

Proven ability to manage environmental commitments, compliance obligations, and corrective actions.

Your work environment

The position will require travel to appropriate locations (Mostly Cajamarca/Site and Lima) to support the operation.



The position will require periodic living in the Yanacocha camp.

The person must be in good health and physical condition to work in the field in various climatic conditions and at altitudes of up to 4,000 meters above sea level.

The incumbent may be required to travel and assist other sites nationally and internationally.
