An established global semiconductor test solutions provider is seeking an experienced System Application Engineer to support customers in high-volume manufacturing environments across Northern Malaysia. The role focuses on test programme troubleshooting, customer support, ATE test development, technical consultancy, and driving productivity improvements for semiconductor testing operations.

Description
- Resolve post-production test programme issues to minimise customer manufacturing downtime.
- Understand customer IC testing challenges and recommend effective testing solutions.
- Develop and execute support plans as part of dedicated customer account teams.
- Conduct test programme development and productivity improvement projects.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical customer issues.
- Coordinate with local and overseas engineering teams to deliver timely resolutions.
- Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer sessions to customer engineering teams.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Profile
- Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of semiconductor IC testing experience, particularly in wafer sort and/or final test environments.
- Solid hands-on experience with Digital, Mixed Signal, or RF SoC testing using ATE systems.
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in test programme development and debugging.
