SCOPE:
The CNC Machinist II will be responsible for set up and operations of CNC Mill machines used in Manufacturing and Fabrication of aircraft/ military components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and set up Vertical, Horizontal, 5 axis Mills/ Lathes under minimal supervision such as: Mazak, DMG Mori, Okuma, and OKK
- Have a good understanding of fixturing and tooling and be capable of performing setups independently
- Must be able to work from complex Blueprints and manufacturing sketches
- Uses a variety of measuring instruments in production to ensure parts are meeting Blueprint requirements
