The Investment Officer will participate in processing private sector financing projects and technical assistance, establish and maintain client relationships, and assist in managing government relations. The role involves project processing, business development, and policy development within the Private Sector Financial Institutions Division at ADB's Indonesia Resident Mission.

Responsibilities
- Lead and/or participate in the processing of projects, undertaking the needed due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation work towards the structuring of loans, equity investments, guarantees or other forms of assistance.
- Lead credit and financial due diligence by developing financial models and in general assessing the risk and credit profile of proposed financial institutions projects and reviewing project documents.
- Analyze financial statements and financial projections/models.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing and make necessary recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence missions and providing technical support and recommendations to team leaders.




- Represent ADB in specific transactions with external technical advisors, consultants and lawyers.
- Lead relevant sector and country research, as needed, as part of transaction risk assessment and make recommendations to the project team leader.
- Collaborate with the Office of Risk Management and the Safeguards Specialists to address credit-related and safeguard issues.
- Work with the Treasury Department to facilitate local currency lending.
- Prepare project documentation and presentation materials and discussing issues in various meetings, including Investment Committee and Board meetings.
