The duties of the Advanced Medical Support Assistant includes but is not limited to:
- Provides specialized and expert administrative patient support while working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model.
- Employs a broad range of clinical flow processes to support access to care across multiple clinics, specialties, and community care resources.
- Utilize numerous advanced patient systems in support of multiple clinics involved in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model.
- Reviews clinic appointment availability to ensure schedules are closely monitored, effectively supporting clinic needs, and adjusts them as necessary.




- Maintains effective and efficient communication with the patient, care delivery teams, and other agencies.
- Participates in team huddles and meetings to manage, plan, problem-solve, and follow up on patient care by sharing information and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Setting priorities and deadlines while adjusting work flow and sequencing to meet team and patient needs.
- Enters appropriate information into the electronic record.
- monitors pre- appointment information and/or requirements to assure readiness for patient visit/procedure.
- Manages patient systems to verify and validate accuracy and resolve issues;
- Evaluates patient information and clinic schedule lists to determine whether the patient requires an immediate appointment.

Work Schedule: Medical Support Assistant working hours are Monday-Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm. Specific tour options will be discussed duri
