Summary
The Global Repo & indexing (“GRI”) team is a principal trading activity dedicated to providing markets in secured funding products for CACIB’s clients.
GRI trades under repo, security lending or derivatives format on fixed income and equity underlyings
The trading team is globally composed of 40+ strong split across US, Europe & Asia.
It is composed of 4 product lines
Rates: Government bonds underlying
Credit & EM: Corporate bonds underlyings
Equity: Equity underlyings
Solution: Cross-asset underlyings and secured format
We rely on the different capital market salesforce to distribute our products. GRI is running its financing activity through general and local books with traders in NY, London, Paris, HK and Tokyo.
This particular role will work across 2 fixed income activities: Credit & EM as well as Solution.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Trader role:
- Perform trading of repo products and alternative formats within authorised trading limits, i.e. the repo risk parameters and designated currency and product limits.
- Provide pricing on Credit repo & Solution for a varied customer base via the sales team.
- Perform transactions execution accurately and in accordance with established risk management, operational procedures and risk parameters.
- Formulate trading ideas based on analysing the latest market data.
- Actively involved in upgrading “the toolbox” of the desk notably through GRI IT resources.
- Actively Involved in product development to answer clients global and local needs
- Report activity and results
