Job summary

Mainly support the documentation and structuring of revenue-related processes as a project, including flowcharts, narratives, contract-to-revenue mapping, and control points to ensure that new products and revenue streams are properly identified. Once the process foundation is in place, the VIE may gradually support product-level revenue reconciliation under supervision. In parallel, the role will perform routine finance tasks such as cash reconciliation, template-based report preparation, journal upload/posting, and BS balance reconciliation, filing, etc to document the current processes and find areas which could use more efficiency by using AI.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

3+ yeasr of professional experience or internship experience in finance, accounting, or related fields are required.

Experience in an audit firm or consulting firm is a big plus.

Required skills

Accounting knowledge equivalent to Japanese Bookkeeping Level 2 or above is required, including double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, a basic understanding of discounted cash flow, and DTA/DTL.

Ability to prepare process documentation, including narratives, flowcharts, and internal controls, in a structured and accurate manner

Good communication and coordination skills, interest in finance and process improvement, and willingness to learn quickly in a cross-functional environment

Technical skills required

Good Excel skills, including basic formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with accounting systems is a plus
