Responsibilities

1. Develop, review, and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

2. Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory testing.

3. Analyze requirements to identify testing scope, risks, gaps, and potential quality issues.

4. Manage testing activities including test execution, defect tracking, retesting, and reporting.

5. Collaborate with BA, Developers, PM, and stakeholders to ensure requirements and expected system behavior are well understood.

6. Document and monitor defects with clear evidence, severity, and reproduction steps.

7. Support automation, API, and performance testing activities using relevant tools.

8. Contribute to QA process improvement and knowledge sharing with Junior SQA members.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

2. Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing.

3. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and defect management.

4. Strong experience in test case creation,



test execution, regression testing, and defect tracking.

5. Experience with JIRA, Xray, TestRail, etc.

6. Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Playwright, WDIO, Selenium, Katalon, etc. is highly preferred.

7. Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and basic SQL/database validation is preferable.

8. Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

9. Able to communicate in English, both oral and written.
